Answers for families seeking care
We’re here to help you understand how caregiver referrals work and what to expect.

What is a nurse registry?
A nurse registry refers qualified independent nursing and caregiving professionals to individuals who need assistance. These referred professionals are not automatically employees of the registry.
What types of caregivers can be referred?
Depending on your needs and availability, referrals may include Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), homemakers and companions.
Is care available around the clock?
Families may request daytime, overnight, live-in or around-the-clock arrangements. Actual referrals depend on caregiver availability, the type of care required and appropriate qualifications.
Which areas do you serve?
Palm Beach, Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie Counties in Florida.
How much does care cost?
Rates depend on the type of care, schedule, professional qualifications and individual requirements. Call (561) 210-9096 for current information.
Do you accept insurance?
Coverage, reimbursement and assignments of benefits depend on the policy, the services arranged and any required prior approval. Please confirm details with your insurer and our team.
How are caregivers screened?
Feingold describes credential verification and screening that includes applicable Florida Level 2 background checks. Ask us about checks relevant to your referral.
What is the difference between a registry and an agency?
A registry refers independent professionals. An agency may directly employ staff and operates under its own license. Feingold Nursing Services and Feingold Home Healthcare are separately licensed entities.
